Officers arrived on scene within two minutes of the initial calls, and provided aid to the adult male victim, who was suffering from several gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead, according to authorities.

Police identified the victim as 22-year-old Nasir Majied.

The victim was driving a Kia with no passengers inside, police said. The suspect was also the sole occupant of their vehicle, and was seen continuing northbound after the shooting.

Homicide detectives are reviewing evidence and pursuing leads as they work to identify and locate the suspect.

Police said they’ll release a description of the suspect vehicle to the public once they have an accurate description.

The relationship between the victim and suspect is under investigation.

Police haven’t ruled out if the shooting was brought on by road rage.

Several events will still take place in Towson Friday night.

“Residents can expect an increased police presence as those events remain ongoing,” a Baltimore County spokesperson said.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting should call police at 410-887-4636.
