Ryan Gerard and J.T. Poston are in a sudden-death playoff to determine the winner of the Memorial Tournament.
Gerard broke from the pack at Muirfield Village with a 37-foot birdie putt on the par-4 17th. Poston responded by hitting his approach shot on the par-4 18th to 7 feet and converting the birdie.
The two finished regulation at 12 under par, one shot clear of Wyndham Clark (67). Tommy Fleetwood (68) and Sam Burns (69) tied for fourth.
Gerard is seeking his second PGA Tour victory while Poston is looking for No. 4. The winner will receive $4 million from the $20 million purse with the runner-up earning $2.2 million.
