Olivia Attwood admits that Love Island changed her life as she recalls the early days of her agreeing to do the ITV show.

The star shot to fame after appearing on the 2017 series of Love Island where she coupled up with Chris Hughes. She entered the villa on day 1, with the couple finishing the show in third place.

The pair dated for several months before splitting in 2018. Before they parted ways, the popular couple had their own spin-off show Chris and Olivia: Crackin’ On that followed their relationship behind the scenes.

After the split she met footballer Bradley Dack, with the pair officially tying the knot in 2023. Their love story was also documented on television in her series Olivia Meets Her Match, and their wedding was aired in Olivia Marries Her Match.

Olivia announced her separation from Bradley earlier this year as she claimed he had “lied and cheated” on her “multiple times”. At the time, she said: “The breakdown of our relationship is because of this. I was in love with him and the potential I saw in him and wanted always to help him try to be the best version of himself – as I did for 10 years – covering up.”

Since leaving the villa, Olivia has had an impressive career on the small screen. Alongside a string of documentaries, her show Getting Filthy Rich has aired for three series. The show sees her take a deep dive into the adult entertainment industry.

The star is also a regular panellist on ITV daytime show Loose Women that tackles subjects close to the ladies hearts, as well as topical news stories.

She has also made appearances on Lorraine, Tipping Point: Lucky Stars, The Crystal Maze, The Real Housewives of Cheshire, as well as a short stint in the I’m a Celebrity jungle back in 2022.

Appearing on This Morning, a show Olivia has helped present over the summer months last year, she opened up about her time on Love Island admitting that it changed her life.

Olivia was on the ITV sofa with her mum, Jennifer, as the pair are currently on the new series of Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox. Ben Shephard asked if it was her mum who suggested she did Love Island, to which Olivia responded@ “I got cold feet. She came and told me to get it together in time.

“Phone calls all through the night, saying ‘Liv, come on you know it could open doors, I changed my mind.” Her mum added: “I said, no, no you really have to do this.”

Arriving for series three, Olivia recalled: “I’m glad I got to experience it in that time because even though the show’s evolved and it’s still so incredible, we just didn’t quite know what it was going to be, and I’m glad that I got to experience it at that time.”

Sharing the clip from the interview, Olivia took to her Instagram stories and added: “And my whole life changed from that one decision”.
