Sports Seriously
It’s only fitting for the biggest edition of the FIFA World Cup to carry the biggest broadcast teams as well.
The 2026 World Cup, hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada, will feature 48 teams for the first time, meaning there will be a record 104 matches in the competition. Fox Sports, the exclusive rights holders in the U.S. in English, is preparing accordingly.
Fox announced its full commentary lineup of match commentators, hosts and rules analysts on April 29. John Strong and Stu Holden will once again lead the nine English commentary duos.
“The expansion of the tournament allowed us to go out and really build a dream roster of who we envisioned bringing Fox Sports’ FIFA World Cup 2026 to life,” said Brad Zager, Fox Sports president and executive producer.
