No injuries after massive fire in Quinte West

No injuries are being reported after a massive fire in Quinte West.
Quinte West Fire & Rescue responded to a blaze at 17 Bayside Drive just after the noon hour on Friday.
Fire Chief John Whelan tells Quinte News that the fire quickly turned into a three-alarm fire.
Preliminary investigation suggests that the cause of the blaze was lithium batteries being charged on the deck of the house.
OPP, EMS, Hydro One and Enbridge responded to the blaze.
There were about 25 firefighters on scene from Stations 2, 5, and 6 with support from Station 1.
The units remain on scene at this time.
Damage is estimated at around $900,000.
