RAF 10 results: Khamzat Chimaev vs. Dillon Danis falls off the rails in 45 seconds, ends in massive brawl

RAF 10 descended into chaos after another night of wrestling action on Saturday. The main event match between Khamzat Chimaev and Dillon Danis ended in a massive brawl after Chimaev scored a quick pin for the win inside the Chaifetz Arena of Saint Louis University in St. Louis.
Making his RAF debut and competing for the first time since losing his UFC middleweight title, Chimaev hand-fought with Danis in the early goings of the match until he landed a quick single-leg takedown to get Danis on his back and score the victory. That was essentially the entirety of the match, but in the closing process, Danis applied a guillotine choke, accepting defeat. Once the referee stepped in to break things up, Chimaev threw a kick at the downed Danis, and both wrestlers’ teams swarmed the mat.

Neither Chimaev nor Danis spoke in the match’s aftermath, as they were quickly escorted out of the arena, and the broadcast went off air. Several fights and punch exchanges appeared to happen amid the brawl, as the entire mat was filled with bodies.
Typically, that level of shenanigans has been reserved for RAF’s undisputed MVP, Arman Tsarukyan, who added another win to his unbeaten wrestling streak in Saturday night’s co-main event. Tasked with welcoming former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson to the promotion, Tsarukyan reeled off a dominant 10-0 tech fall victory in Round 2.
Ferguson pulled guard early in the match before Tsarukyan applied a body lock for a big slam, earning a quick six points off both exchanges. The remainder of the opening round saw Ferguson attacking with offensive takedown attempts, but he was ultimately stifled. In Round 2, Tsarukyan landed another big body-lock slam to secure the victory while barely breaking a sweat.
Another UFC contender was also in action at RAF 10, as Aaron Pico picked up a dominant 12-1 tech fall win over former WSOF champion Lance Palmer. The match was Pico’s return to wrestling for the first time in more than a decade.

Preceding the final three matches were the night’s lone title matches. At strawweight, Lucia Yepez won the vacant crown with yet another dominant win in RAF, beating Kendra Ryan via a quick 12-2 tech fall. Before that, Austin DeSanto successfully defended his bantamweight belt in a highly competitive match, coming down to the wire against Reineri Ortega. In the end, DeSanto fended off his challenger with a 2-1 decision.

Chimaev wins FAST with a single leg and hold for the fall, then Danis locks on a guillotine, and Chimaev kicks Danis on the mat to unleash a MASSIVE brawl on the mats. Everyone swarmed from both sides. My goodness.
