Makhachev (28-1) surrendered his 155-pound title and moved up to welterweight to capture the crown from Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 322 last fall. He’s currently tied with former middleweight champion Anderson Silva at 16 for longest win streak in UFC history.

As for Garry (17-1), he rebounded from a decision loss to Shavkat Rakhmonov to win back-to-back fights over ranked contender Carlos Prates and former champion Belal Muhammad.

In the UFC 330 championship co-main event, Mackenzie Dern puts her 115-pound strap on the line against No. 5-ranked strawweight contender, Gillian Robertson. Dern (16-5) defeated Virna Jandiroba at UFC 321 to secure the strap vacated by Zhang Weili. Meanwhile, Robertson (17-8) has rattled off five straight, including her unanimous decision victory over Amanda Lemos back in March.

More on this in just a bit.
