Jet2 has announced a brand new flight route is set to launch from Manchester Airport – meaning there will be a total of seven new destinations from summer next year.

The major airline has announced that two weekly services will run from Manchester to the ‘year-round sunshine’ hotspot of Tunisia over summer next year.

After announcing the new Tunisia flights, it now means that Jet2 will operate to 70 destinations in Summer 2027 from Manchester Airport, with 7 new destinations including Tunisia, Bergerac, Hurghada, Jersey, Kavala (Thassos), Paris and Sharm el Sheikh.

Jet2 CEO Steve Heapy said: “We are thrilled to be giving customers and independent travel agents even more choice from Manchester Airport thanks to the launch of Tunisia as our latest new addition.
