Shaffelburg 1st NSian to ever score at World Cup, Canada wins

A soccer player from Port Williams, Nova Scotia, is the first player from the province to ever score at the World Cup, minutes before Canada took the win 6-0.
Jacob Shaffelburg, 26, scored the goal Thursday night, to make it 5-0 for Canada against Qatar in the 75th minute in Vancouver.
He is also the first player from the province to ever play in the event.
