Nottingham Forest’s Premier League fixtures: Full 2026-27 schedule and dates

Nottingham Forest will get their Premier League season up and running at home against Leeds United.

Forest’s form in the second half of the season under Vitor Pereira was strong enough to see them pull away from the threat of relegation with a 16th-placed finish, leaving them without European football this term.

They also reached the semi-finals of the Europa League, where they suffered a 4-1 aggregate defeat to eventual winners Aston Villa.

Pereira was Forest’s fourth head coach of the season — after Nuno Espirito Santo, Sean Dyche and Ange Postecoglou were sacked.

Forest face a tough start to the season, with a trip to Anfield in their second match of the campaign, before hosting Tottenham Hotspur a week later. They visit Aston Villa the following weekend.

Forest will finish the season away to promoted side Coventry City.

Analysis

Nottingham Forest will kick-off their fifth consecutive Premier League campaign with games against two of their oldest rivals.

Vitor Pereira’s side start with a home game against Leeds United on opening day, before heading to Anfield to face Liverpool a week later.

Forest will cover some serious miles around the festive period, with trips to face Sunderland, Manchester United (Boxing Day) and Newcastle only broken up by the visit of Everton on the weekend of December 19-20.

Pereira has spoken about his belief that Forest have a squad that is capable of building something better than another fight against relegation this coming season.

Forest’s run-in will see them face title holders Arsenal in the capital on the weekend of May 15-16, before facing two of the promoted sides in Ipswich at home (May 23-24) and an away game at Frank Lampard’s Coventry on the final day.
