Grizzlies select forward Cameron Boozer with No. 3 pick in NBA Draft

Memphis has a new young star to build around. 

The Grizzlies selected Duke forward Cameron Boozer with the No. 3 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.

Boozer spent one very successful season with the Blue Devils. He averaged 22.5 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.4 steals on 55.6 per cent shooting in 38 games played. 

The 18-year-old led Duke to the Elite Eight with his efforts. Despite not winning a national championship, he did receive plenty of hardware this campaign. 

Boozer was named the National Player of the Year, the ACC Player of the Year and the AP Player of the Year, while also winning the Naismith Award and the Wooden Award. He was additionally a consensus First-Team All-American. 

The six-foot-nine forward is the son of long-time NBAer Carlos Boozer, who played 13 NBA seasons with the Cavaliers, Jazz, Bulls and Lakers. Cameron also played at Duke with his twin brother Caden, but the latter opted to return to the Blue Devils for his sophomore season.
