Osasuna v Getafe Best Bet Preview

📈 Osasuna v Getafe Form & Stats

Osasuna narrowly missed out on a European place in La Liga last term as they finished 9th, only outside the top eight on goal difference, and they have so far failed to respond to that disappointment at the beginning of this term.

Los Rojillos have won two, drawn one and lost four of their opening seven league fixtures, including failing to triumph in any of their last three matches, with two defeats and one draw.

Despite their struggles, Osasuna have carried over their formidable home form from last term – when they earned 36 points and lost just three of 19 games at Estadio El Sadar – by winning two and drawing one of their first three home fixtures this season, giving the hosts reason to stay optimistic heading into Friday’s clash.

Getafe enjoyed a superb start to the 2025/26 La Liga campaign, winning their opening two matches before first tasting defeat against Valencia, only to immediately bounce back with a 2-0 win over Real Oviedo.

Jose Bordalas’ side failed to continue that form in the following three outings, losing 3-0 to Barcelona before recording back-to-back 1-1 draws with Alaves and Levante, meaning they have dropped to 8th in the standings.

However, Getafe have reason to be confident of ending that winless streak with a victory on Friday, as Bordalas’ men boast the 4th-best away record of any team in La Liga this term, recording six points from four matches on the road.

Getafe also have a dominant record in this fixture, managing six wins and suffering just one defeat in their last 12 meetings with Osasuna, including a 2-1 victory at Estadio El Sadar in their most recent encounter in March 2025.
