Senators pick up forward Andre Burakovsky in trade with Blackhawks

More forward help is coming to Ottawa.
Burakovsky, 31, appeared in 75 games with the Blackhawks last season, registering 11 goals and 22 assists.
For his career, which includes Stanley Cups with the Washington Capitals in 2018 and Colorado Avalanche in 2022, the Swede has collected 164 goals and 256 assists.
“Andre adds skill and playmaking ability to our forward group,” general manager Steve Staios said in a statement. “We are happy to add the pedigree of a two-time Stanley Cup champion.”
