The Toronto Maple Leafs have traded restricted free agent forward Nick Robertson to the Pittsburgh Penguins for a fourth-round pick, according to TSN Hockey Insider Chris Johnston.
Robertson, 24, had 16 goals and 32 points in 78 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs last season.
The 5-foot-9 winger is coming off a one-year, $1.825 million contract.
Drafted 53rd overall by the Maple Leafs in 2019, Robertson has 48 goals and 88 points in 234 career games.
The Pasadena, Cali., native represented the United States at the 2020 World Juniors in a sixth-place finish.
