An agreement is not finalised at this stage, but it’s understood the 23-year-old free agent has been on Teesside today, and a deal is likely.
Peart-Harris, a versatile attacker, is a free agent this summer after his short-term deal with Oxford United expired at the end of the season.
The forward came through the academy ranks at Chelsea before joining Brentford in 2021.
He made four Premier League appearances for the Bees, the most recent of which came as a late substitute in the 4-2 win at Everton in January.

Peart-Harris then linked up with Oxford in January on a half-season deal and impressed for the U’s, scoring three goals and providing one assist in 19 appearances.
Oxford made a fight of their bid for survival, but their relegation was confirmed in the final week of the season, and Peart-Harris’ exit was confirmed soon after, with the forward keen to assess his options.
Peart-Harris isn’t short of Championship experience, having spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Swansea, where the former England youth international scored three goals and provided four assists in just 18 starts.
He previously spent time on loan with Forest Green Rovers and Portsmouth in League One.
Leicester City and QPR are among the clubs who have shown interest in Peart-Harris this summer, but Boro made their move after closely monitoring the forward during his spell at Oxford.
Peart-Harris is deemed to have good potential, and Boro also believe he’s a good fit for what Kim Hellberg is looking for in his attack.
He’s versatile, direct, fast and, after joining Oxford, he told of how he “prides himself on working hard for the team”.
Boro are looking to revamp their forward line this summer and add crucial depth.
They looked set to sign Kyle Joseph from Hull City earlier this week, but a £5m deal for the forward was delayed by a complication.
Boro are understood to still be in discussions with Hull, and there’s a hope it can be resolved, but it’s not clear at this stage how the matter will play out.
Boro could bring in as many as a handful of attackers this summer and will also prioritise midfielders after Hayden Hackney completed his move to Everton earlier today.
Everton will pay Boro £17m up front, and the deal could rise to £25m in add-ons.
Boro have also inserted a sell-on clause, the type of which could see them benefit significantly if Morgan Rogers leaves Aston Villa this summer.
Boro’s players reported back to Rockliffe for the start of pre-season today and will head to Portugal this weekend for a pre-season training camp.
