Yankees’ Ben Rice announces career news ahead of Twins series

The New York Yankees have one of the league’s most promising young hitters in first baseman Ben Rice. After fully breaking out during the 2025 season, Rice has elevated his game even further this year.

The 27-year-old has posted a .269 batting average, .360 on-base percentage and .922 OPS, all of which would be career highs if the season ended today.

Rice has also collected 15 doubles, 23 home runs and 54 RBI across 81 games.

He is currently going head to head with Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. in Phase 2 of All-Star Game voting to determine who will start for the American League this summer.
