Landscape fire breaks out along East Shuswap Road Monday

TK’EMLUPS — UPDATE (3:20 p.m.): The BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) is responding to the landscape fire on the Tk’emlups reserve.

On its website, BCWS says it has sent both ground and air personnel to battle the blaze.

Video posted to social media shows an air tanker dropping fire retardant on the area.
