Kalavista Tennis Courts in Coldstream will be closed from July 6 to Aug. 14 for resurfacing upgrades.
The project will be completed in two phases, starting with the removal of the existing surface, repair and regrading of the existing sub base, installation of a new gravel base and asphalt surface.
The newly paved surface will then be left to cure for three weeks.
The second phase, starting Aug. 10, includes the application of an acrylic playing surface, line painting and the installation of the nets. The work is expected to be completed by August 14.
Action Paving and Tomko Sports Systems have been contracted to do the work.
