Several properties have been evacuated after a large fire broke out at a scrapyard in Nottingham
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to Radford Road, Basford, on Wednesday at 10:31 BST.
Nottinghamshire Police said properties were being evacuated. Six fire engines and an aerial ladder platform are at the scene.
People living and working nearby have been advised to close doors and windows as the fire has generated a large plume of smoke.
