Bam Adebayo punches ex-Heat teammate Tyler Herro in face at Las Vegas practice court

An ugly breakup in Miami continues.
Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro got into a physical altercation at a practice court in Las Vegas on Friday morning, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported.
Adebayo reportedly struck Herro in the face as they were leaving the court.
The altercation started when Adebayo confronted Herro about comments he made about the center on social media after being traded to the Bucks.

“We are aware and not commenting,” the Heat said in a statement to ESPN.
The Bucks had no comment.
Herro was seen sitting courtside at the Heat-Bucks summer league game Friday afternoon and chatted up Milwaukee, ESPN reported.
Herro, after the trade, posted a graphic on his Instagram Story of players with the worst field goal percentage from midrange, featuring new Giannis Antetokounmpo — the big name sent to Miami in the swap — and Adebayo.
Antetokounmpo was first on the list, shooting 26.8 percent while Adebayo was 10th, shooting 35.9 percent.
Direct messages were also recently leaked that allegedly showed Herro taking shots at the Heat center.
A fan argued with Herro that Adebayo was worth the contract he got because he is a “top five defender” and averages 20 and 10.
Herro, who did not specify Adebayo by name, allegedly argued one should not get paid $60 million for being a good defender on some nights.

The center didn’t make $60 million during the 2025-26 season, however, and will not make that much next season either.
Adebayo is currently playing on a three-year, $160 million deal with Miami.
The tension between the two is somewhat surprising, as they spent the last seven seasons together.
Herro was sent to Milwaukee as a part of a large package that sent Antetokounmpo to the Heat this summer.
The Bucks received Herro, Jaime Jaquez, Kel’el Ware, Kasparas Jakučionis and draft picks, including the 13th overall pick in the 2026 draft.
The Heat got Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis in return.
Herro was drafted by the Heat in 2019 with the No. 13 pick after his successful career at Kentucky.
In his seven seasons in Miami, he averaged 19.5 points, five rebounds and 4.1 assists.
