I predict a TKO/KO finish for Pinas over Almeida, as he’s the more explosive and powerful puncher. Although Almeida can use his kickboxing background to attack Pinas with leg kicks and calf kicks, I’m think Pinas can withstand these kicking game of Almeida.
A major factor here is the massive age gap between the two, with Pinas being 14 years younger. This gives him the edge in physicality and athleticism, allowing him to go and be relentless with his offense through his forward pressure.
Pinas isn’t just a pure striker because he can also wrestle and engage in clinch battles even if his opponents force a grappling match. His raw strength and physicality get him past opponents, but I think he’s constantly improving his technicality.
