Report: Gary Trent Jr. agrees to four-year, $64M deal to stay with Bucks

The veteran guard is signing a four-year, $64-million contract to remain with the Milwaukee Bucks, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Saturday.

Trent, 27, averaged 8.1 points per game in 65 games played, mostly coming off the bench, for the Bucks last season.

Originally a second-round pick of the Sacramento Kings in 2018, Trent had his draft rights traded to the Portland Trail Blazers on draft night,. He played his first two-and-a-half seasons with Portland before being traded mid-season in 2021 to the Raptors as part of a deal that saw Toronto deal Norman Powell.

In July 2024, Trent signed with the Bucks, where he’s remained ever since.
