Seattle Storm vs Washington Mystics

The Seattle Storm are having a terrible, no good, very bad season, limping into action tomorrow afternoon in the Nation’s Capital with a 6-18 record, including a dismal 2-10 on the road. All of this is good news for their hosts, the Washington Mystics.
Also good news for the Mystics is that their All-Star guard, second-year pro Sonia Citron, is expected back in action tomorrow after missing the past two games with a knee injury. While only sitting at 10-10 so far this season, that consitutes a big improvement for Washington, as they are on pace to have their best year since 2022.
The advanced stats have the Mystics rated as 2.5 points per game better than the Storm. Then when you add in the home court advantage, Washington becomes an even bigger favorite. After crunching all the numbers, my line is Washington -5.5, so the Mystics on the spread is my best bet for Sunday.
