The Ville, La Familia announce rosters ahead of TBT

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A new best-of-three format to start, a new $2 million prize, some new faces, but the same TBT that’s come to captivate many is almost here.
Cardinals alumni from The Ville practiced on Wednesday at Valley High School ahead of their best-of-three matchup against UK’s La Familia on Saturday at noon at Memorial Coliseum in Lexington. Game 2 will be Monday at Freedom Hall at 7 p.m. Game three, if necessary, will be Wednesday at Memorial Coliseum at 6 p.m.
The Ville’s roster includes:

- Alex Matthews (University of Texas Permian Basin)
La Familia’s roster includes:
- Kahlil Whitney (2019-20)
- Willie Cauley-Stein (2012-15)
- Marcus Lee (2013-16)
- Aaron Harrison (2013-15)
- Archie Goodwin (2012–13)
- DeAndre Liggins (2008–11)
- Chris Coffey (Georgetown College)
- Darryl Morsell (Maryland/Marquette)
- Sean McNeil (West Virginia/Ohio State)
- James Mainor-Bell (Villanova)
The Ville will also have new coaches.
2013 National Champion and North Hardin boys basketball coach Michael Baffour takes the reins. One of his assistants is Male head coach Tim Haworth.
The team wanted to showcase local coaches with title pedigree to not only help take care of La Familia, but also reach a new height in the TBT.
