UCLA shortstop Roch Cholowsky, the consensus No. 1 player in the class for over a year, went No. 1 to the White Sox.
Texas high-school shortstop Grady Emerson, the consensus No. 2 player in the class for over a year, went No. 2 to the Rays.
And the Twins happily snatched up Georgia Tech catcher Vahn Lackey, whose breakout junior season made him the consensus No. 3 player in the class after coming into the year as borderline first-round pick.
