The heat is set to reach record levels in tonight’s episode of Love Island as some islanders are faced with significant decisions.
During Sunday night’s programme (July 12) on ITV2, Ethan and Elicia are presented with a massive ultimatum, while Julia and Lorenza grapple with tough choices of their own.
Following the unexpected announcement that one more couple will be exiting the villa, Julia and Lorenzo, who were voted the Islanders’ favourite couple by the general public, are handed the power to determine who leaves.
Jasmine then gets a text summoning the pair for a private conversation, where they must decide which couple’s Love Island journey will end. Feeling the weight of the impending decision, Lorenzo confesses to Julia: “I have no idea what to do.”
Elicia has been causing quite a stir in the villa
Having made their selection, the couple return to the garden to reveal the result to the rest of the Islanders. Addressing the group, Lorenzo admits: “It’s a horrible feeling having to stand here and end somebody’s journey.”
Later that evening, as the Islanders unwind in the garden, Yasmin receives a text instructing everyone to immediately gather at the fire pit, reports OK!.
Once they’re all seated around the firepit, Elicia gets another text message. The message states: “Elicia and Ethan, as the newest arrivals, you must now decide to steal a boy and a girl of your choice to couple up with.”

Charged with disrupting two established couples, Elicia and Ethan step forward to the fire pit to announce their choices.
Ethan speaks first and confesses the choice hasn’t been straightforward, revealing that he has relished getting to know one of the girls “from the start” and that it “was just really easy”.
Elicia then declares: “It’s clear as day the two boys I’ve been getting to know. My gut and my heart are saying this person.”
Elicia is faced with a tough choice
The surprising selections create shockwaves throughout the villa, leaving everyone stunned. But which Islanders will Elicia and Ethan choose to couple up with, and whose romances will be plunged into doubt?
Since arriving at the villa, Elicia has sparked drama as she’s been getting to know Finley, who is already paired with Ellie. But will the blonde beauty be bold enough to pursue what she desires?
