‘Love Island USA’ Season 8 Finale Live Updates: Couples In the Running, How to Watch and More

With “Love Island USA” Season 8 about to come to a close, let’s revisit last year’s blockbuster season.

This time last year, viewers huddled around their TVs to watch Season 7’s final four — Amaya and Bryan, Nic and Olandria, Huda and Chris and Iris and Pepe — go on their final dates, profess their affections and finally, take in the results.

Here’s where those couples stand today.

Amaya and Bryan

Relationship status: Broken up

Amaya and Bryan decided to become exclusive during the Season 7 finale before they were crowned the winners. They stayed together for a few weeks after the show ended before Amaya announced their breakup via Instagram on Aug. 27, 2025, just days after the Season 7 reunion. Both appeared in a Season 7 spinoff series “Love Island: Beyond the Villa,” and Amaya said in a confessional that Bryan broke up with her via a text message shortly after they were intimate for the first time.

Nic and Olandria

Relationship status: Still together?

Nic and Olandria, aka Nicolandria, started as a fan pairing before a series of villa twists resulted in them coupling up and revealing their mutual long-ignored crushes on each other. The two have kept busy in their own right, with Nic pursuing a career as a DJ and Olandria modeling and influencing. The two have publicly supported each other but have rarely given specifics on the status of their relationship. So as far as the public knows, they are still romantically linked.

Olandria spoke to Cosmopolitan in June and said of her relationship with Nic, “We don’t monetize our relationship or put it on display. If you genuinely like spending quality time with somebody, it shouldn’t involve a camera every two seconds. We enjoy each other’s presence and do what normal people do: go out, have fun, and get to know each other.”

Asked about speculation that they aren’t actually in a relationship, she said, “Why does it matter if me and Nic are together?”

Huda and Chris

Relationship status: Broken up

Huda and Chris, who coupled up after Season 7’s Casa Amor, actually broke up before the show wrapped. Their first date came after plenty of tension in the villa due to their differing feelings toward PDA. Over a romantic dinner date, they got honest about their conflicting communication styles and the hurdles they’d potentially face after the show while attempting a long distance relationship. After an awkward intermission from a performer, Huda suggested they just be friends, to which Chris responded, “Cool, no hard feelings.”

Iris and Pepe

Relationship status: Broken up

Iris and Pepe both entered the villa as bombshells on the same night and pursued multiple connections while maintaining a friendship. Iris fell for bombshell TJ, but after he was dumped, she saw Pepe in a new light, admitting in a confessional she never thought he could be an option. They chose to couple up in the final few episodes, and on their first date and final speeches, each said they were interested in continuing their relationship in the real world.

But days after the reunion, Iris confirmed to E! News Aug. 28 she and Pepe had broken up amid an alleged “cheating scandal.” (Pepe denied cheating on Iris in “Love Island: Beyond the Villa.”) Iris reunited with TJ, and they went Instagram official in November 2025.
