The day began with plenty of drama as Michael Maguire’s Brisbane side prepares to face Melbourne at Accor Stadium on Sunday night.
The Storm are still looking for their first NRL premiership without any of the club’s “Big 3” legends, while the Broncos have ridden a rollercoaster to reach Sunday night’s decider at Sydney Olympic Park.

Storm enforcer Stefano Utoikamanu lit the fuse for grand final week following his “stuck up” comments about some of the Broncos players and the animosity between the two camps will finally be unleashed when the game kicks off at 7.30pm (AEDT).
There is also huge interest in the NRLW Grand Final, which will provide plenty of fireworks from 4pm.
It was Ezra Mam that caused the biggest stir in the hours leading into the Grand Final after a call for the star playmaker to be stood down.
