July 15 (UPI) — The Odyssey stars Zendaya and Anne Hathaway wore ethereal looks on the red carpet Tuesday.
Zendaya, 29, and Hathaway, 43, stepped out at the film’s New York premiere at AMC Lincoln Square theater in Manhattan.
Zendaya sported literal wings as part of her ensemble from French fashion house Matières Fécale. The white gown also featured a plunging neckline, a thigh-high slit and a short train.
In a post on Instagram, Matières Fécale said Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach “asked us to save this dress for Z almost 2 years ago.”
“We kept our promise and turned down so many great requests but knew this was the right fit for such an important creation in our archive,” the brand said.

Meanwhile, Hathaway, who is pregnant with her third child with husband Adam Shulman, wore a white empire-waist Prada gown with a crystal-embellished bodice and a flowing plissé skirt.
Other attendees included The Odyssey writer, director and producer Christopher Nolan, along with cast members Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Lupita Nyong’o and Charlize Theron.

The Odyssey is a fantasy epic based on the ancient Greek poem by Homer. Damon stars as Odysseus, the king of Ithaca who encounters gods and monsters on his long journey home after the Trojan War.
The cast includes Hathaway as Odysseus’ wife Penelope, Holland as Odysseus’ son Telemachus, Nyong’o as Helen of Troy, Zendaya as the goddess Athena, and Theron as the nymph Calypso.

The Odyssey opens in theaters Friday.
