’90 Day Fiancé’ star gives update on child’s health emergency after he’s turned away at border

“90 Day Fiancé” star Armando Rubio still doesn’t “have the answers [he’s] been praying for” regarding daughter Hannah’s hospitalization.
“The doctors are continuing to run more extensive scans as I write this,” the reality star told his Instagram followers on Thursday, two days after revealing the 13-year-old was in the ICU with a brain bleed.
“The neurologist is still searching for the cause of what happened to Hannah,” he added. “We’re hoping to have the results from today’s scan sometime tomorrow. If those don’t provide answers, the medical team plans to move forward with a more invasive procedure in the next day or two.”

Calling the waiting “incredibly difficult,” Rubio continued, “We’re holding onto hope and trusting that each test brings us one step closer to understanding what’s happening.”
Rubio is in Mexico while his teenager is at an ICU in Phoenix, Arizona, with her mom.
Hannah was transported via ambulance from their small town in Mexico, which didn’t have the proper testing equipment, to an Arizona medical facility — before being airlifted to the state’s capital.

Rubio explained to Page Six that he was turned away at the border since his request for a temporary humanitarian parole was denied, with a US Customs and Border Protection supervisor telling him those hadn’t been granted since 2025.
On Wednesday, he gave a glimpse of Hannah’s hospital room via FaceTime, writing, “Still no further updates. Currently getting prepped for another scan.”
His husband, Kenneth “Kenny” Niedermeier, meanwhile, posted from Hannah’s bedside on Thursday.

“Hannah told me to tell you all, thank you for all the love she is receiving from all of you, she is truly touched and shocked by it all,” he wrote. “It means the world to all of us!”
Niedermeier clarified on his Story that he had been “up in Ohio for a family funeral.”
He and his partner went public with Hannah’s health issues on Tuesday, saying her face was “droopy” and half her body “had no strength.”

Rubio spoke with us about being separated from Hannah “when she needs her dad the most.”
He said, “Every parent wants to be at their child’s bedside when they’re sick, and not being able to hold her hand or comfort her has been the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced.
“I am doing everything within my power to be reunited with her because, more than anything, she needs her daddy, and I need to be with my little girl.”
