FDA raised conflict of interest concerns ahead of new peptide panel

As the Trump administration was assembling a key panel to review a slate of controversial peptides, FDA officials expressed concerns about appointing those who worked for peptide-related businesses and clinics, according to two individuals familiar with the matter. The Food and Drug Administration said such members could represent potential conflicts of interest, the individuals said.
