Cam Skattebo’ moronic post-injury backflip may land him in hot water

During a Saturday Fanatics Fest event in New York City, New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo showed why he’s about to get a major earful from his coaches.
Skattebo is recovering from a “open tibia fracture and ruptured deltoid ligament in addition to a right ankle dislocation,” per ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, that ended his 2025 rookie season.

However, he showed off where he had surgery on his leg at Fanatics Fest right before doing the stupidest possible thing imaginable with said recovering leg. He attempted a backflip to showboat before tumbling to the ground.
Behaving like a doofus after such a major injury is… a great way to get yourself in hot water with your new coaching staff. We’re sure new Giants coach John Harbaugh loves seeing Skattebo behaving like a toddler.
Seriously, if you’re a Giants fan, you’re begging Skattebo to never do this ever again.
Trying to pull something like this off such a major injury is just beyond ridiculous. Somebody has to get in this guy’s ear and tell him to grow up.

If he got re-injured on that leg, it could put his whole 2026 season, and potentially his career in jeopardy.
Kids, quite literally, don’t try this at home.
