Super Bowl champions Philadelphia are yet to lose in the defence of their title and they can remain undefeated when the Denver Broncos make the long trip to Pennsylvania on Sunday.
The Eagles have beaten the Cowboys, Chiefs, Rams and Buccaneers, so have hardly had an easy start, and they can add another noteworthy success.
Nick Sirianni’s team have won their last ten games stretching back to last season, have won 16 of their last 17 and have covered the handicap in five of their last six.
The Broncos are only 2-5-1 against the handicap in their last eight games and have lost heavily in the last two of their rare meetings with the Eagles, going down 51-23 in 2017 and 30-13 in 2021.
The Broncos are yet to win on the road this year and their only successes came at home against weak opposition from the winless Titans and a Bengals team missing their star quarterback.
With the Eagles defence in fine form, the champions should be able to pull clear in this one.
