Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding may be over, but the controversy and uncomfortable moments haven’t stopped.

Insiders told Star Magazine that Kelce’s return to football practice may be “uncomfortable” since quite a few of his teammates weren’t invited!
“They are typically very good at blocking out the noise, but to have all these nasty stories coming out about his teammates being jealous and trash-talking them is pretty disheartening,” the inside source said to the outlet. “He’s got to go back to that locker room any day now and that’s bound to be uncomfortable because clearly there’s a lot of jealousy towards him.”

For those who don’t know, Kelce and Swift have been dating since July 2023, but didn’t make their romance known until months later, when Swift arrived at one of his games.
Then, Swift and Kelce announced their engagement two years later on Aug. 26 2025. Swift captioned a post, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” revealing several pictures from the intimate moment surrounded by flowers in a garden that Kelce created.
And they got married on July 3 in a huge bash at MSG! As we said, the controversy hasn’t stopped, including with the guests who attended.
It’s been alleged by Rob Shuter, on his Naughty But Nice Substack, that there was a “running joke” at the wedding.
“The running joke all night was, ‘How do you know Taylor and Travis?’” one insider said. “The funny part was that a lot of people couldn’t answer. Most weren’t close friends. Many barely knew the couple at all.”
They added, “Most people never even got to say hello to Taylor or Travis. They certainly didn’t have a real conversation, and many don’t even have Taylor’s phone number or email to thank her afterward. That’s what happens when your wedding becomes a celebrity convention.”
