As Lamine Yamal looks to win his first World Cup with Team Spain, he’ll be supported by his girlfriend, Inés García Santos. (She also goes by Inés Garíca.) After he scored his first World Cup goal, he told DAZN he was dedicating it “to my mother, my girlfriend, to my friends, and everyone back at home in Mataró.”
The Spanish social media influencer, who just celebrated her 21st birthday, and Yamal, who turned 19 yesterday, met online. Dating rumors began earlier this year when they were spotted vacationing in Greece; they made their first public appearance in May at a FC Barcelona dinner. “People started seeing us together when we went to Greece,” she said. “I’ve known Lamine for a lot longer than that. Not quite three years, but a good deal more months than people realize, even now.”
“We gave things time,” she added. “We also spent a long time talking before seeing each other.”

Since they went public with their relationship, she’s been a regular at every World Cup game, and wears Yamal’s jersey.

After Justin Bieber was announced as a World Cup finals halftime performer, García shared it to her story, writing in Spanish, “Baby, do whatever it takes to make it to the final. Are you listening?? Whatever it takes,” she wrote in Spanish.
The couple also made an appearance at a Bad Bunny concert in Barcelona in Madrid.

“I love traveling, but I’m terrified of flying,” she told Woman Madame Figaro. “The two things don’t really go together, but I’m facing my fears little by little. This summer I’m going to take many trips, both in Spain and abroad, which you’ll see.”
