Little Fire: Grass fire burning south of Pleasanton scorches 150 acres with moderate rate of spread

SUNOL, Calif. — A wildfire south of Pleasanton in Alameda County has prompted evacuation orders Tuesday afternoon, according to CAL FIRE.

The fire, dubbed the Little Fire, started sometime before 3 p.m. in the area of Little Valley Road and Hubbard Lane south of Pleasanton and had burned 700 acres and 0% contained as of 4:30 p.m.

Crews from the Alameda County Fire Department and Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department also responded.

Evacuation orders have been issued for the following zones:
