Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit is still seeking assistance in locating missing children Lanakai and Karl Morrison.
They are believed to be with Lanakai’s mother Krista Morrison and Karl’s father Daniel Ludwig, possibly in British Columbia.
Krista Morrison and Ludwig are both wanted for abduction in contravention of a custody/parenting order. Police say the children are at risk.

Cpl. Gina Slaney with the Alberta RCMP said the children were abducted by the adults after a court hearing found Lanakai should be with his father and Karl should be put into foster care.
“Once that decision was made, Krista and Daniel made the decision to take off with these children, so we’re looking at a parental abduction,” said Slaney.
She said while the province rescinded the Amber Alert, RCMP are treating the case as a missing persons.
“We’re just hoping that this resolves peacefully, we just want to make sure that these children are safe,” she said.
Police say there was “indication” the four were in B.C.’s Okanagan Valley near Vernon, and possibly travelling east toward the Kootenays.
“They are very mobile and could be in Northern B.C., the Yukon or Alberta. They were last believed to be driving in a 2006 Red Ford F350 that has a lift and larger tires, or may be driving a motorhome,” said an media release from the Alberta RCMP.
Lanakai Morrison, age six, has a slight build, long light brown hair and brown eyes, police say.
Karl Morrison, four, has blonde hair.
Krista Morrison is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, medium build, long brown hair and eyes. She is 35 years old.
Daniel Ludwig, also 35, is 5-feet 11-inches, has a large build, brown hair and brown eyes, police say.
Anyone with information is asked to not approach them and call 911.
