Oklahoma residents report tremors from 5.0 magnitude earthquake detected in Texas

SPEARMAN, Texas. –
The U.S. Geological Survey has reported a 5.0 magnitude earthquake detected early Thursday morning in Texas.
According to the USGS, the quake had an epicenter located 38 kilometers south-southeast of Spearman, Texas. No aftershocks have been reported, although the USGS says they could remain possible even a week following the initial quake.
No damage or injuries have been reported at this time.
