1.5M dozen eggs recalled in six states for likely salmonella contamination

Approximately 1.5 million dozen white and brown cage-free eggs have been recalled due to potential salmonella contamination.

The eggs from Midwest Poultry Services were available to consumers in Brookshire Grocery stores in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico and Mississippi and Kroger locations in Texas and Louisiana, as well as other small retail outlets, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
