(WLUK) — Despite the delay in storm development, severe storms are arriving in Northeast Wisconsin on Monday morning.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for most of the viewing area until 3 p.m. Severe thunderstorm warnings were also issued. An earlier tornado warning, which included northwest Oconto County, expired.
The main threats include damaging winds, large hail and heavy rain.
Wind gusts could hit 70 mph, along with the aforementioned hail and heavy rainfall.

This is the first of two possible rounds of severe weather for Northeast Wisconsin today.
The second round will be this afternoon between about 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Scattered thunderstorms will develop along a cold front and could become severe with damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes.
Some parts of the area are currently under a Heat Advisory until 7 p.m.

Besides the storms, the warm and humid weather continues today.
The high will be near 85.
Tomorrow should be sunny and less humid with a high near 80.
