Justin Baldoni’s wife Emily takes a swipe at Blake Lively in anniversary tribute

Justin Baldoni’s wife, Emily Baldoni, seemingly threw shade at Blake Lively while celebrating 13 years of being married to the actor.
“Marriage: still my favorite lift. 😜 Thirteen, baby!!” the 41-year-old wrote alongside a black-and-white photo from the couple’s Corona, California, nuptials via Instagram on Monday.
In the throwback snap, taken in July 2013, Justin smiled at the altar while lifting his partner into the air.

Emily’s followers believe the caption was a swipe at Lively’s viral allegation — amid her and Justin’s contentious years-long legal battle, which was settled in May — that the “It Ends With Us” director asked the actress’ longtime trainer about her weight ahead of filming.
“He said that he was asking about her weight in connection with a scripted lift scene, suggesting that he needed to know Ms. Lively’s weight to determine whether he could perform the lift,” Don Saladino claimed in court docs.
The fitness guru noted Justin’s “existing workout program included regular back extensions,” which made his query feel “dishonest.”

Social media users pointed out Emily’s “lift” caption appeared to be a “nice burn” in Monday’s upload, with one commenting, “Hahaha I see what you did there 😂.”
Another applauded the “sick shade,” while others criticized the apparent dig.
“Good gravy, can’t resist a little shade throwing on your anniversary, no less?” one asked, with another noting, “Awww. [Lively] is living rent free in in your head on your anniversary.”
Reps for Justin and Lively did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Baldoni’s Instagram tribute did not reference his headline-making feud with his former co-star.

“Thireen years later… we’re still dancing. ❤️,” the “Jane the Virgin” alum, who shares daughter Maiya, 11, and son Maxwell, 8, with Emily, gushed Monday. “Happy anniversary, my love. I’m pretty sure this was the exact moment my pants ripped open. 😂”
He and Emily have put on a united front since Lively, 38, sued Justin for alleged sexual harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy and lost wages in December 2024.
Emily was photographed on multiple Hawaii trips with her husband in 2025 — and accompanied him to court in February, three months before the legal war was settled.

The couple broke their silence on the drama in a recent Instagram video, with Emily saying, “We’ve had to wrestle with so many things and try to understand so many things, like how can something happen like this even happen — let alone disguised as a fight for women.”
Justin, for his part, added, “There have been so many painful things spoken into existence over the last couple years. And that created so much noise, and we didn’t want to add to the noise. So we just wanted to let the justice system run its course.”
The ex-“Man Enough” podcast host’s court battle, notably, is still raging on as Lively requests more than $8 million in legal fees from him — an amount Justin’s team dubbed “excessive” earlier this month.
