Maidstone United welcome Brentwood Town to the Gallagher Stadium this Tuesday.
The Blues finished fifth in the Isthmian Premier Division last season, having occupied a top-two spot for many weeks. They beat Aveley 4-1 in the play-off semi-final but lost to Billericay Town after extra time in the final.
Brentwood, who have recently announced a five-year partnership with Barry Hearn’s Matchroom, have played five pre-season matches to date. They have won three and lost two, with the most recent being a 4-3 victory away at Canvey Island.
The Stones extended their unbeaten pre-season run with a 4-0 win over Ashford United on Saturday afternoon. Riley Court, Tom Leahy and Ken Charles were on the scoresheet in the first half before a trialist added a fourth 20 minutes from time.
With ten days to go until the season gets under way, get down to the Gallagher this Tuesday evening to see the new-look Stones squad in action.
