Jonathan Greenard will open his first Eagles training camp on the team’s physically unable to perform list.
Per multiple reports, Greenard suffered a pec strain while lifting weights. The linebacker is not expected to be out for an extended period of time, but will not be able to practice until he’s activated from the PUP list. That activation can come at any point during camp.
The Eagles acquired Greenard in a trade with the Vikings this offseason and signed him to a four-year, $100 million contract extension.
Jalyx Hunt, Nolan Smith, Arnold Ebiketie, and A.J. Epenesa are the other experienced outside linebacker options for the Eagles.
