A 19-year-old man from Forest Home, N.S., has died after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a truck Wednesday evening.
RCMP say they responded to the collision on Hwy. 12 in Welton Landing around 5:10 p.m. AT. A northbound Chevrolet Silverado and a southbound motorcycle collided.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 47-year-old man from Bolton, Ont., who was driving the truck, was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Hwy. 12 was closed for several hours while a collision reconstructionist attended the scene.
Kings County RCMP is asking anyone who witnessed the crash and may have dashcam footage to contact them at 902-679-5555.
The investigation is ongoing.
