Jason Kelce Says He Cried At Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Wedding

Jason Kelce says his wife, Kylie Kelce, is “probably not happy” about one of his actions during Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift‘s wedding.
On July 30, the older Kelce brother, 38, reflected on his brother’s July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden during his appearance on SportsRadio 94WIP and revealed that he was more emotional watching Travis and Taylor tie the knot than he was at his 2018 wedding.

“I mean, you know this, guys. I’m a crier. I’ve been on this station multiple times on camera. I am a crier,” Jason said. “I did cry. I probably cried more at this wedding than I cried at my own wedding, which probably is not acceptable,” he joked, adding, “Kylie is probably not happy about that.”
The former Philadelphia Eagles player said Taylor and Travis’ lavish wedding was “incredible” and spoke about how much he enjoyed seeing Adam Sandler officiate the ceremony. “I think he’s probably the perfect person you could have officiate a wedding,” Jason said of Sandler. “Obviously he’s hilarious and he knows how to make it entertaining and funny. But there’s a sweetness to Adam and everything he does, all of his movies, that really resonated throughout.”

Jason emphasized that despite the size of the event, the couple have successfully managed to keep their wedding private, saying he hasn’t seen any “legitimate photos” of Travis and Taylor’s big day.
“There were a thousand people inside Madison Square Garden,” he shared, noting the guest list was an insane mix of A-listers, such as Brad Pitt, and family friends from his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
“I think, this is obviously an effort by Travis and Taylor to really try and make this as intimate of a moment as possible,” he said. “There’s so much interest in what those guys are doing at all times, so I think you just get used to it.”
Jason’s comments come after he opened up about how the interest in Travis and Taylor’s relationship has impacted his family. “It just was like a very big flip obviously when Taylor and Travis started dating, and that led to a whole [other] demographic and fan base being interested in not just me but our entire family,” Jason said, adding that the increased attention forced him to hire security for his family, an aspect of Swift’s fame which insiders say Travis struggles with.
In May, a source told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack that Travis is “struggling” with Taylor’s security presence. “Taylor’s life operates like a military operation,” a source said. “There are armored SUVs, armed guards, advance teams, private entrances, constant surveillance. Travis respects why it’s necessary, but it’s still shocking to him sometimes.”
