Sean Grayson, the officer who fatally shot Sonya Massey in her own home, has been denied medical release from his 20-year prison sentence. Grayson, a former Sangamon County sheriff’s deputy, was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer in 2023, his attorney, Mark Wykoff said at his sentencing in January.
