6 shot, 1 dead in early morning Northeast Portland shooting; No arrests made

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) — Six people, including a teenager, were shot early Sunday morning in a shooting at a home in Portland’s Cully neighborhood, authorities said. One adult man later died in the hospital.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 5800 block of Northeast Alberta Street at approximately 3:33 a.m., according to the Portland Police Bureau. Upon arrival, police found two victims with gunshot wounds, both of whom were taken to local hospitals by ambulance.

Shortly after, investigators learned that four additional victims had arrived at area hospitals in private vehicles with injuries from the same shooting.

One of the injured victims is a teenager, while the other five are adults, police said. The dead victim is an adult man, police said. The rest of the victims are expected to survive.

No arrests have been made, and suspect information has not been released. Investigators believe numerous people were at the scene before and during the shooting and are urging anyone with information to contact police online regarding case number 26-224255.
