2-year-old girl who was subject of AMBER Alert found dead on Northwest Side

SAN ANTONIO – A 2-year-old girl who was the subject of an AMBER Alert late Sunday night was found dead on the Northwest Side, San Antonio police said.

Aryana Trevino Martinez was pronounced dead just after 12:10 a.m. Monday, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.

At this time, Martinez’s cause and manner of death remain under investigation.

The AMBER Alert issued for Martinez was canceled around 3 a.m. Monday, according to the San Antonio Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Police said that Martinez was found unresponsive near the 4700 block of Allegheny, where she was last seen.

Authorities have not released any further information about Martinez’s death. This story will be updated once more details become available.
