Indian Actor Pradeep Singh Rawat Dies of Blood Cancer

Kathmandu. Indian famous actor Pradeep Singh Rawat has passed away. The 74-year-old Rawat, who had blood cancer, passed away on Tuesday evening during treatment. 

Actress Vipana Thapa, who is in India, informed that he passed away at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai.

Rawat, who was also an actor in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil films, had acted in the film ‘Aabaat Aama’ and ‘Hraswa Deergha’ directed by Chandra Pant.

Rawat played the role of Ashwatthama in the serial ‘Mahabharat’. He has also acted in villainous roles in Sarfarosh, Lagaan, and Ghajini.

Rawat had worked with Vipana Thapa in the Nepali films ‘Aabaat Aama’ and ‘Aabaat Aama-2’. 

After the news of Rawat’s death, actress Thapa expressed deep sorrow through social media. Indian artists are also expressing sorrow and paying tribute to Rawat on social media.
