A woman who went too heavy on the bottle before getting behind the wheel didn’t get too far in her attempts to get away from police last night, leaving a trail of destruction in her wake.
RNC in Corner Brook tried to pull her over at about 10:00 after seeing the vehicle zooming down Grenfell Drive at a high rate of speed, but the driver had other plans. A short while later, she collided with three parked cars on Philip Drive.
The 35-year-old, who has been charged with drunk driving, lost her vehicle and licence.
Police are asking anyone who saw something or who has electronic footage to contact them at 709-637-4100.
